More Information

This 24-hour challenge takes you between two of the most iconic capital cities in the world, and between two of the most famous points: Greenwich Observatory in London, and the Eiffel Tower in Paris. You’ll need to train hard, well in advance of your trip but this challenge really is achievable to anyone who puts their minds to it. Starting at Greenwich Observatory at around 3pm in London you’ll head south through the city and out into the countryside past Lingfield, East Grinstead, and Lewes, before arriving at Newhaven. Here you’ll catch the late night ferry to Dieppe.

Your ride through France starts early (at around 4am) taking you through attractive countryside and charming French villages en route to the capital. You’ll cycle southeast, through the beautiful town of Gournay and then on to the French capital! It’s downhill into Central Paris and you’ll pass the impressive Arc de Triomphe and cycle along the Champs-Élysées to your finish point at the Eiffel Tower!

This superb achievement will provide you with exceptional bragging rights! The evening and the next morning are yours to celebrate and enjoy in Paris. You could round off your trip with a visit to Notre Dame, the Champs-Élysées or the Arc De Triomphe or simply spend your time soaking up the atmosphere in one of the most iconic cities in the world.
