Intro
The Lake District contains some of the most beautiful scenery in England. It has hundreds of fells which create a vast terrain of rugged mountains.
There are only 4 fells which exceed the 3000ft contour, Helvellyn is one of the chosen few.
By beginning near to the pretty village of Grasmere, we enjoy spectacular Lakeland scenery from the start. Not content with one summit, we actually traverse two more en-route to our lofty goal of Helvellyn.

Course Requirements
To do this trip you need to have a reasonable level of fitness. No previous hill walking experience is required, however the fitter you are the more you will enjoy your trip.
The day is reasonably long, approximately 5-7 hours of mountain walking. You need to feel comfortable carrying a small day-sack and walking for extended periods, therefore a few training walks and visits to the gym will undoubtedly add to your overall enjoyment of the trip.
We recommend that you follow a fitness plan in preparation for your challenge, an example of one will be sent to you when you have confirmed your booking.
Although the fitness plan we will send to you has been devised by a fitness professional, this is only provided as a guide and you should seek professional advice before starting your own fitness regime.
