A typical itinerary looks like this:

Day 1 Overnight in comfortable twin-room accommodation in/ near Portsmouth; get a good night's sleep before the challenge begins

Day 2 Breakfast then depart to meet your team-mates. Briefing on Board: Meet the skipper and crew, familiarise yourselves with the boat and get hands-on straight away! You'll receive a full safety briefing and be fitted with essential life-jackets before getting involved in preparing the boat for the trip. Set off for the Solent and experience the 60 mile course, with lunch served along the way. Finish the course: this will be in the evening, though timings are hard to predict as they vary with conditions. It's a long, tiring and hugely exciting day
