Why not join our guided ascent of the Yorkshire Three Peaks and enjoy the adventure.   To complete this route is to undertake one of the great outdoor challenges in the UK. It will be a tough day, but worth it for that feeling of satisfaction upon completion.

We offer guided ascents every Saturday from May  – October so all you need to do is choose the date that suits you and we’ll do all the hard work.  As well a a qualified mountain leader, you will be supported by our dedicated team to make sure your experience is fun and safe whilst helping you achieve your goals.

About & Details

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge is without a doubt one of the most rewarding challenges in the UK. Starting and ending in Horton-in-Ribblesdale you take in the 3 highest peaks in Yorkshire, Pen-y-ghent (694m), Whernside (736m) and Ingleborough (723m). The aim of the challenge is to walk this 24 mile route within 12 hours!

This adventure is also available as a package with accommodation.  Please see optional extras for additional charges.

Guided Ascent Departures

We run the Yorkshire Three Peaks guided ascents every Saturday from May to the end of October.  To book any number of participants on to an event, simple select the date in the calendar and following the booking procedure. You will then receive an automated confirmation and full details will follow from our office in due course.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Friday

    Make your way to Horton-in Ribblesdale and your chosen accommodation.

  • Day 2 – Saturday

    Enjoy a hearty breakfast and meet your mountain leader in Horton-in-Ribblesdale to start walking at 7am. Following our chosen route we ascend Pen y Ghent, Whernside & Ingleborough before making our final descent back to Horton-in-Ribblesdale. Return to your accommodation (if you are staying one more night) and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Hospitality Action provides financial relief to alleviate poverty for people who work or have worked in UK hospitality. We’re here for the chefs, waiters, housekeepers and managers. We’re here for the concierges, receptionists and kitchen porters. And we’re here for every sommelier, bartender, catering assistant and cook across the UK.

We offer counselling, advice and signposting to people facing mental health challenges or dealing with illness, bereavement, debt or addiction.

We also run an outreach programme to keep loneliness at bay for hospitality retirees.

To participate in this challenge for Hospitality Action there is a non-refundable registration fee, payable to Maximum Adventure at the time of booking.
