The Chiltern Way is a waymarked long-distance footpath in Southern England offering breath taking views of the rolling landscape, with wooded hills, nature reserves and far-reaching landscapes.

Taking part in our one day challenge, you will walk the stunning section  from Mapledurham to Bovingdon Green. The walk takes you through incredibly beautiful countryside on well signposted tracks making it suitable for walkers of all abilities.

This is the perfect way to reconnect safely with colleagues while taking part in a socially distanced outdoor challenge. Our dedicated team will work with you before and during your event to ensure it is a success and you achieve your goal.

Our suggested route covers a distance of 30-35km (approx. 8-9hrs walking), if you would like to complete over a shorter/longer distance please get in touch and we’ll tailor-make something specific to your needs.

About & Details

Starting at Mapledurham you follow the Chiltern Way to Greys Court, a Tudor Country House owned by the National Trust in the southern Chiltern Hills before heading onto the deer park surrounding Stonor House, continuing to the village of Hambleden, before finishing at Bovingdon Green.

  • Personal Insurance (for cancellation, accident, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of or damage to baggage and personal effects)

Departures

We run our Chiltern Way Challenge from April to October as a exclusive event for bookings of 10 or more participants. If you would like to take part in this challenge as part of a smaller group or individual please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the office on 017683 71289 and we will be happy to discuss further.

To book onto an event, simply select the date in the calendar and follow the booking procedure. You will then receive an automated confirmation and full details will follow from our office in due course.

Itinerary

  • Your Challenge

    Meeting at Mapledurham, the start of your challenge, here you will meet your guide who will brief you about the day ahead, explain the route and check your equipment.  After your briefing you will set off from Mapledurham following the Chiltern Way to Greys Court, a Tudor Country House owned by the National Trust in the Southern Chiltern Hills before heading onto the deer park surrounding Stonor House, then continuing to the village of Hambleden, before finally finishing at Bovington Green.
